Dates:  September 7-9, 2022

Please read the entire event description and details before you register!

Description:

Are you confident in your knowledge regarding basic state and federal compliance for the out-of-state activities of postsecondary institutions?  Is the institutional knowledge regarding compliance management held by only you or a very small group of staff at your institution or organization?  If you answered yes to these questions, then you will benefit from Succession Planning for Compliance Continuity.  This workshop will support your current efforts to address efficient collaboration as well as the future efforts at the institution/organization to minimize disruption to compliance management due to staffing changes.

The State Authorization Network (SAN) is bringing together experienced compliance and organizational specialists to work with participants to develop strategies to address stability for compliance management in the event of a staffing change, employee leave scenarios, and for informing counterparts in other offices who are needed for collaboration.

Succession planning:

  • Supports the development of a culture of compliance.
  • Ensures smooth transitions among staff.
  • Ensures steady compliance at the institution.
  • Eliminates gaps in institutional memory.
